San Diego Christmas Light Exchange

Calling all San Diegans! The City of San Diego and SDG&E are sponsoring a Christmas light exchange program this season. SDG&E is offering free LED holiday lights in exchange for old incandescent holiday light strands.

Here’s the deal: go to one of the locations listed below and bring up to three incandescent light strands to exchange for three free energy-efficient strands of LED holiday lights, (while supplies last.) You must also bring a valid California ID and/or your SDG&E utility bill.

Using LEDs are an excellent way to go green and save money, since they use up to 90% less energy than standard incandescent strands of lights, create almost no heat, and reduce fire hazard.
